Comporium Communications is pleased to provide its high-speed Internet customers with spam and virus filtering using GreyMail. Before messages are placed in your inbox, each one is scanned by the GreyMail service for both viruses and junk mail. If either is detected in the message, it is immediately moved to the GreyMail Message Center and a notification is sent to your inbox.
You can then click on a link that loads the Message Center in your browser, giving you the opportunity to safely review the infected message. All quarantined spam and viruses are automatically deleted if they are older than 14 days, so you never really need to delete what is quarantined if you don’t want to. You may delete, forward, and read messages as well as set many other customizable features.
To access GreyMail’s many customizable features click on “Options” in the upper right hand corner of GreyMail. Here you can set overall “Spam Sensitivity” levels, individual filter settings, setup a white list and blacklist, as well as many other options.
